The Artistic Award goes to youth who have achieved artistic distinction:

Nathaniel Green - Visual art works

Ashley Stevenson - Performance, theatre productions

 

The Business/Entrepreneurial Award goes to youth who have achieved prominence:

Ashley Atatise - Program development

 

The Career in a Health Field Award goes to youth who have excelled in this field:

Mukwa Peer Leaders - Traditional Tobacco

 

The Community Leadership/Volunteer Award goes to youth who have demonstrated outstanding community leadership and/or involvement in a community:

Kara Morriseau - Youth Leader/Role Model

Cheyenne Tibishkogijig - Community Leader

 

The Cultural Award goes to the youth who have shown dedication to the preservation and/or understanding of the Anishnabe Culture and/or Language:

Landon Jourdain - Cultural dedication

Little Bear Drum Group - Cultural teachings

 

The Employment in a Traditional Field Award goes to youth who are pursuing and/or working in a traditional occupation:

Tim Solomon - 'Taking care of the land'

Deanne Morrison - Cultural teachings

 

The Honourary Award goes to any youth who is 12 years of age or younger and has achieved distinction in any category:

Patrice Primeau - Hard work and dedication

 

The Personal Achievement Award goes to an individual who has demonstrated achievement and excellence in any area through personal perserverance:

Cherilyn Fox - Perserverance of her education

Jake Achneepineskum - youth role model in education completion
